Job Description


The Pricing Supervisor manages a team of analysts responsible for researching, analyzing, applying, and monitoring special deal pricing; for researching and resolving customer pricing disputes; setting up, maintaining, and programming special deals in the ERP system and bolt-on application.  Responsible for analyzing pricing impact and department performance to targets.


May include, but are not limited to, the following:

•           Interfaces with sales, sales analysis (Deal Desk), finance, customer service, and customers in determining eligibility requirements for customer credit memos for deal settlements, special pricing or other contracted pricing.

•           Supervises a team of pricing analysts who are responsible for the resolution of customer disputes and deductions related to pricing.  Serves as first level of escalation to resolve complex customer issues.

•           Supervises the set up and maintenance of customer special pricing in ERP and bolt-on application independently or through subordinates

•           Verifies request for pricing change or special deal falls within company policies and has proper approvals

•           Ensures entries meet system needs, monitors error reports and fixes

•           Verifies data submittal, calculates and determines eligibility for monthly/quarterly rebate issuance of credit memos

•           Designs and runs analyses for pricing impact and department performance to targets

•           Miscellaneous projects for Pricing , Sales and Finance


•         College degree required.  Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred. 

•         Preferred experience with CPQ tools on digital platforms (Salesforce or others)

•         Advanced Excel and proficient in use of ERP software

•         Five years of related experience.

•         Strong Analytical abilities with attention to detail, strong math and logic skills

•         Capable of exercising judgment in administering company policies and guidelines

•         Capable of handling a large work and ability to multi-task

•         Ability to work well in a team environment

•         Excellent communication skills to various levels of the organization/industry

•         Must be able to handle confidential information


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.



The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office.  Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators.  Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
