Job Description

SUMMARY

Accountabilities include Process and Cost tracking, Engineering support, Operational Reliability tracking, serving as a Project/Process engineering resource, and safety and procedural compliance/ enforcement.  Additionally, this position provides direction and communication to the general workgroup regarding Performance, Cost and Reliability, and Safety metrics.  This requires close coordination and interface with the Operations and Mechanical workgroups to ensure Reliability and Cost impacts and status are understood and optimized.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and own Daily and Weekly Maintenance Schedules
  • Co-own Weekly, Monthly, and Annual Budgets
  • Manage, approve, and prioritize notifications
  • Subject Matter Expert for Notifications and Work flow Process
  • Responsible for PM and Inspection compliance
  • Liaison with Engineering, Maintenance Supervisors, Production, and Logistics

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:


  • BS in Chem Engineering, or a minimum of 3 years equivalent experience in an industrial setting
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning / prioritization skills
  • Ability to prioritize and self-direct
  • Functional experience with Chemical Process Simulation Packages

Familiarity with Advanced Process Control and DCS Methodologies


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position may or may not have direct reports and/or indirect reports.  The position requires the ability to motivate direct/indirect or non-reports in the purchasing function as well as non-purchasing functions. 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Incumbent may be required to travel via auto or airline on a limited basis.


WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate in the corporate office.  May be exposed to manufacturing environments on a limited basis
