SUMMARY

To standardize and maintain data integrity within the Fittings product line.  Performs data analysis and problem resolution on issues related to complex and/or highly specialized master data elements.  Ensures master data is accurate and supports business requirements.  Provides master data support for assigned projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Update and maintain the Product Data Management policies and standards for Data and Records Management. 
  • Manage governance communications including regular reporting stakeholders.
  • Prepare materials for stakeholder and Data Management
  • Provide guidance to businesses and functions on appropriate and consistent compliance with the Product’s Data and Records Governance Standards
  • Support working groups that coordinate activities across the program including Data Lineage, Authoritative Data Sourcing, Data Quality, Reference and Master Data Management and Records Management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge/ experience in Data entry in any of the following disciplines: Governance (policy, procedures, standards), Data Management, Process Analysis, Process Improvement, Project Management
  • Highly organized as the role requires keeping up with the ever changing environment
  • Ability to influence and build relationships
  • Experience/ knowledge, in fittings industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite especially Excel
  • Persistence to overcome issues and resolve problems
  • Continuous improvement orientation
  • A high level of attention to detail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  He employee frequently is required to walk.  The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
