Job Summary:

  • Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive Continuous Improvement through the PIP process, including evaluating and improving on processes in manufacturing systems
  • Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
  • Develop innovative solutions
  • Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards
  • Develop and manage capital expenditure initiatives
  • Interface with equipment, tooling and automation suppliers to identify cost effective solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure projects are completed on time
  • Ensure financial budgets are followed
  • Research and recommend new manufacturing technology

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Injection Molding operation
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience using MS Office Suite Programs, AutoCAD, and MS Project.


Ability to evaluate problems and recommend solutions relating to technical aspects of injection molding operations. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, while managing multiple projects and initiatives with a strong attention to detail.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
