Job Description


  • Ability to pass an internal and external written and practical exam to become a qualified forklift driver
  • Knows how to operate all types of forklifts used in the plant with the use of safe work practices.
  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the plant, yard, or work site, performing any combination of following duties: Reads work order board for the knowledge of what type of material is needed. Follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
  • Inspects forklift equipment before use and informs Foreman on the condition of the equipment if needing repairs
  • Knows how evaluate and maintain basic components such as oil levels, changing a fuel tank, and the inspection of wear of tires and completes the log book at the beginning of each shift.
  • Garbage’s, cardboard, PVC bins are to be emptied when full. The garbage’s, PVC bins are to be weighed up with the H.U. operator present.
  • Using the correct forklift for the task to move pallets, racks, and skids of material.
  • Stage and replace all material, seals, weather-strip as needed for twin and single lines
  • Weigh off all part boxes of material not being used before putting back in stock for inventory.
  • Inventory : will make sure all part boxes of material are weighed and the tags undated
  • Remove racks from the C07 area and stage for release.
  • Will know how to use the scanner.
  • Once racks are released they are put into inventory using the scanner for bin to bin locations.
  • Find and locate homes/room for the inventory to be run online.
  • Keep areas clean and organized around the warehouse as needed concentrating on C07. and Staging area for material, seals and weather strip areas.
  • Resource now video’s and all H&S documentation to be completed monthly on time.
  • Assist QC with returns moving product as needed.
  • Any other duties as requested by Foreman

  • Experience in organizing and tracking electronic and hard copy documentation;
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Computer knowledge EX…MS Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Data entry
  • Spreadsheet experience
  • Interpersonal service skills 


  • 2 years experience is necessary. 
  • Minimum of grade 12 education. 
  • Ability to read and write in fluent English.
  • Experience in a logistics position is an asset
  • Able to work in an open environment

Schedule:    12 hour night shift rotation 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
