    JOB SUMMARY: Royal Building Products is currently looking to fill a vacancy for Manager, IS Functional – JD Edwards ERP for the office located in Woodbridge, Ontario.

     The position is responsible and accountable for the administration and support of the JD Edwards ERP solution in use at Royal Building Products.  Working closely with the Director, IS Business solutions, the Manager will assess system requirements for business, financial and operational functions within the Company, and develop strategic plans for optimizing the JD Edwards system’s capabilities to align with the business needs. This role will be responsible for managing internal functional and external technical support resources to achieve the agreed to support levels.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of subject matter experts to deliver a high level of service on the JDE E1 application through the management, support and optimization of the JDE E1 solution.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop strong relationships with business leads to align IS and business goals
  • Develop positive relationships with direct reports and establish goals and objectives for personal and professional growth.
  • Conduct research on JD Edwards software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing or outsourcing efforts.
  • Implements policies and procedures to improve the data governance and standards of operation of the JDE E1 solution.
  • Document standards, policies, processes, and user guides.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant business, financial, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to delegate projects and get work done through effective team collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 5 or more years of proven experience in managing, deploying and supporting ERP applications in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on JD Edwards
  • Proven skills in business analysis, quality assurance and implementation of Tier-One ERP applications
  • Strong understanding of the core ERP modules – Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of the JDE EnterpriseOne Architecture – Deployment, Enterprise and Application servers.
  • Strong knowledge of the JDE EnterpriseOne User Management and Security module
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and possesses the skill to multi- task and juggle competing priorities while developing direct reports
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
  • Highly motivated and results oriented with a positive Customer Service attitude
  • Strong Project Management skills.  Certification in PMP or equivalent would be an asset
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management or Computer Science
